DOUBLE THE FUN! “Mattress Madness” Joins Shamrock Shootout!
The BHS ABC will host its first ever Mattress Sale Fundraiser on March 15 and 16th (Saturday and Sunday). Enjoy the events at the Shamrock Shootout and check out our “Mattress Madness” at the same time! Booster clubs throughout Virginia have said these are top quality mattresses at a discount price. What better way is there to help BHS student-athletes than to get a product you need at a good price? At least plan on stopping by BHS March 15th to enjoy some of the Shamrock Shootout and check out the prices and quality of the mattresses. (Yes! The BHS common areas will have multiple mattresses on display!!) The Mattress Madness continues on Sunday, March 16th.
Shamrock Shootout 2014 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament – Registration is now closed and we are looking forward to a great day of youth basketball on Saturday, March 15, 2014. See our web page for tournament rules and other information.
We need volunteers to help with cleaning and stocking the outside concessions stand. This is a great way for students to acquire some community service hours and help out Battlefield’s athletics programs. If interested, please contact Susan Coxson at BHSConcessionsscoxson@gmail.com
The Battlefield High School Athletics Booster Club is seeking a volunteer to fill the role of Ways & Means Chairperson. - Define ways and means of fund raising.
- Attend Haymarket / Gainesville Business Association meetings and communicate with sponsors and area businesses.
- Work with Boosters Club major events to guide fund raising efforts.
- Recommend and develop new fund raising events.
- Recommend fundraising events
- Coordinate individual team fund raising events to help avoid conflicts.
If you can devote some of your time to assisting with any of these efforts, please contact Ron Fairbanks at email@example.com
The BHS ABC has adopted a new set of membership benefits that will create strong opportunities for increased growth and support.

- Members may designate half of their membership fee to the team of their choice.
- In July 2009, the BHS ABC was classified as a public charity under 501(c)(3) . As a result, contributions to the BHS ABC are deductible under Section 170 of the code.
