Elections for positions on the Battlefield High School Athletics Booster Club board will be held at the May 20 booster club meeting. Please consider volunteering and running for one of the leadership positions in the organization that helps support Battlefield High School’s athletics programs. The board is actively seeking to fill the roles of Vice President and Secretary. The May 20 meeting will be held in the high school mini theater from 6:30PM to 8:00PM.

Congratulations to the BHS Girls Gymnastics Team for placing 2ND at this year’s NW Regional Championship and qualifying for the State Championship on Friday, February 15th. Congratulations to Kassie Krivo, June Mumo, Elena Patchan, Jena Schroeder, Kelli Herr, Erika Harrington, Alysha Darden, Kayley Her, and Victoria Krivo.
Individual qualifiers in June Mumo on vault and floor, Kassie Krivo on beam and floor and Erika Harrington on vault.
The state championships are this Friday and Saturday in Centerville. Good luck Ladies!!!

Shamrock Shootout 2013 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament – March Madness for Haymarket/Gainesville youth basketball players is coming soon. The tournament is being held Saturday, March 16, 2013. BHS Boys Lacrosse Mulch Sale – On Now!

The annual fund raiser for the Battlefield High School Boy’s Lacrosse team is underway. The boys are selling bagged mulch for $4.50 per bag – 3.0 cu/ft brown or 2.0 cu/ft black. If you order 5 or more bags the team will deliver your order to your home. All orders must be placed by February 22. Delivery day is Saturday April 6th. Please see the Mulch Order Form for more details. This is the team’s sole fund raiser, please consider purchasing your springtime mulch needs from our boy’s lacrosse team. BHSABC 9th Annual Golf Tournament – October 22

Please join us for the 9th annual Battlefield High School Athletics Boosters Club Golf Tournament at Piedmont Country Club Monday, October 22, 2012. Come out and enjoy an autumn morning filled with golfing, food, and fun on a Tom Fazio designed championship golf course while helping the athletics programs at Battlefield High School. 18 holes, cart, continental breakfast, awards, door prizes, and post-event meal included!
Entrance fee/donation is $150 per player or $550 per foursome. Sponsorship opportunities are also available at several levels.
